Suture / Stitch Scissor

Description

Stitch Scissors are used to hold and cut the sutures without hurting the skin during surgical procedures. These scissors are used in many surgeries. It has a sharp and high-grade German stainless steel blunt blade and a small hook on the other blade to get the job done quickly and efficiently.

Stitch Scissors are primarily used for suture removal. These scissors have a small hook shaped tip on one blade that slides under sutures to slightly lift them before cutting for removal. This hook also holds the suture so it does not slip off the blade of the scissors prior to cutting.

Suture materials when installing or remov- ing stitches are called suture scissors and are a type of utility scissors. Operating, or surgical scissors, come in different sizes and are used to cut soft tissue. The cutting blades can be straight, curved, blunt or pointed.
