Dental Lidocaine Topical Ointment 5%, 50g

Lidocaine Ointment 5% is indicated for production of anesthesia of accessible mucous membranes of the oropharynx. It is also useful as an anesthetic lubricant for intubation and for the temporary relief of pain associated with minor burns, including sunburn, abrasions of the skin, and insect bites.

Adults—Apply to the affected area 3 or 4 times a day. The largest amount of ointment that should be used in a single application is 5 grams. If you use the 5% ointment, this is about 6 inches of ointment from the tube. Children—Dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor.
