Fuji 9 offers wear resistance and durability unsurpassed in a glass-ionomer. The packable non-sticky mixture easily adapts to the internal aspects of the preparation. The chemistry of Fuji IX allows adhesion to dentin and enamel when moist; therefore rubber dam isolation is optional.
Fuji 9 is used as a restorative material for cavities. It is also used as a minimally invasive and long-term temporary material which is also used as high strength knuckle under crown restorations.
