CPAP sleep masks are  made from silicone, which rarely causes allergies or skin irritation itself.

For those who have problems tolerating silicone, or for some who simply want to make their CPAP masks fit better, a liner may be the answer.

This version of the CPAP mask is often softer and lighter.  If the patient can naturally create a good fit, then the silicone actually can be more comfortable and does not have to be adjusted every single night.  Silicone is structured in such a way that it does not conform to the face and remains in one position throughout the night.
